If you connect to the Internet using a router then this acts as a firewall between your machine and the outside world. You do not need any additional software in this instance.

Zone Alarm
Free trial firewall software.

Microsoft Firewall
If you use Microsoft XP, Vista or 7 there is a firewall already built in. If unsure how to activate it please contact ICUK.
