Free anti-virus software with daily updates. As good as any on the market which require a subscription.

An exceptional piece of software that comes highly recommended, even if it isn't free.

Microsoft Anti-Spyware (BETA)
A really useful free software package from Microsoft.

If you connect to the Internet using a router then this acts as a firewall between your machine and the outside world. You do not need any additional software in this instance.

Zone Alarm
Free trial firewall software.

XP Firewall
If you use Microsoft XP there is a firewall already built in. If unsure how to activate it please contact ICUK.
