1) What Is Reseller Hosting?
Reseller hosting isn't just ideal for those who want to sell Hosting branded
as their own company, such a web designer or developer, but is also a perfect
solution for customers who run multiple websites. For the designer or developer
interested in this platform it can provide additional regular income above
and beyond any initial development fees. Not to mention the continous contact
you can maintain with your client, or the ability to know your scripts will
work perfectly on your own tried and tested reseller platform. All the control
panels that you have the ability to provide your clients for access to site
statistics and automated mailbox creation etc can be fully branded as your
own using a html template system allowing you to mimic your own website design.

2) Can
I set my selling prices?
Yes. The reseller platform has been designed so
that you pay for nothing more than your monthly subscription, any domains
you register through us, and any additional components installed. You
bill your own clients and set those prices yourself.

3) How do I set the specification
of a hosting plan?
Your control panel allows you to set and the specification
of each and every hosting account you setup. Amongst other things you
have the ability to limit the following specifications:
- Disk Space
- Mailboxes
- Auto-responders
- Forwarding Mail Accounts
- Multi-Recipient Addresses
- Monthly Data Transfer
Accounts that go over their disk space and data
transfer limits can be viewed seperately allowing you to contact those
clients to arrange an upgrade in hosting specification or pay additional
charges.

4) Can ICUK bill my customers?
ICUK cannot offer billing services at this present time. We do however provide you with advanced tools to manage your customers, sales team and renewals.

5) Do my customers have
any indication that ICUK is behind my platform?
There is no reference to ICUK in any control panels
or on domain registrations. Any domains registered by us can have your
company set as the billing and technical contacts.

6) Can I register domain
names through this platform?
Yes you can. Registration charges can be seen on
our wholesale prices page. We do not impose any restrictions forcing you to register domains solely from ourselves.

7) How do I transfer
domains to my reseller account?
Domains can easily be transferred int our reseller
platform. In the case of .uk domains this is done free of charge
and can be done by your existing registrar by changing the IPSTAG
to 'ICUK'. Other top level domains such as .com / .org / .net domains
can also be transfrred to us and this is done via an automated system
in the control panel. Our help files explain in detail how to transfer all types of domain extensions.
Once transferred to the reseller panel you will have full automated control over these domains including:
- Lock / unlock domains
- Update Whois details
- Issue domain authorisation codes
- Update IPS Tags

8) What does your control
panel allow me to do?

9) Do you provide telephone
Support?
Yes, during office hours of Monday - Friday 9am
- 6pm and 9am - 12pm Saturdays. Our telephone support number is 0870
11 66 175 .
Please ensure you have carefully read the help
provided in the control panel of your web site before contacting us
and please have your account username and password ready in case we
need to investigate your problem further.

10) Do you offer my
clients support?
As much as we would like to offer support to yourself
and your clients this is just not practical. Support will be provided
on the phone and via email to the reseller only. Any clients contacting
us directly will be redirected back to yourself as the first line of
support.

11) Does it cost extra
to have .asp scripting on my accounts?
Unlike some Windows based reseller accounts we DO NOT charge extra to run asp scripts. It is enabled as standard on
all Windows plans setup.

12) Can I have my own
COM object installed?
Unfortunately due to the nature of the shared environment
we are unable to install COM objects on a per user basis. You might
like to consider your own dedicated server.

13) Can I use SQL databases?
Yes you can. These can be setup and managed via
the admin control panel. Additional charges are applied to these. Please
refer to our wholesale prices page.

14) What features are
included?
As standard our Linux reseller platform is truely

15) Can I run
multiple MySQL Databases?
Resellers can now setup 15 MySQL databases per hosting account. These are supplied without additional charge.

16) What is
a Domain Parking account?
Domain parking accounts are ideal for customers
who require the ability to secure a domain name for use at a later date, or to
register and point traffic from this address elsewhere. The redirection
can be done simply using their client control panel, or using our full
DNS management functions in the admin and client panels.

17) Can I upgrade this
account?
Yes. If at a later date you wish to change this
to a Windows, UNIX, or Email Only account this can be easily done via
your control panel. Any forwarding setting you had previously setup
would be deleted.

18) What is
an Email Only account?
Email Only accounts are ideal for customers who
wish to use the email functionality of their domains, but do not have
any use for disk space to house their own website.

19) Can
I upgrade this account?
Yes. If at a later date you wish to change this
to a Windows, UNIX, or Domain Parking account this can be easily done
via your control panel. With the exception of changing to a Domain Parking
account (ie no email facilities) the mailboxes that have already been
created will not be affected in the upgrade.
